William is our Property Manager. As such he is responsible for the estate agency side of the business which involves advising clients on all the aspects of selling their properties be it houses, land or commercial premises. William is also responsible for photographing the properties and preparing the sales particulars. Finally, in the sales process anyway, he has primary responsibility for negotiating the offers we receive to ensure that our clients get the best possible price for their properties. William is at the front line of our service provision in the property sector and in an excellent position to advise clients on all matters in connection with the marketing and sale of any type of property.
Archie is the sole proprietor of MacRae, Stephen & Co. He has spent almost thirty years in private practice providing advice on wide range of services including estate agency and property work, commercial and matrimonial advice. Originally from Stirling Archie spent his early years in the law with one of Scotland’s largest legal firms at the time before moving north to work in Orkney and Caithness then south to Aberdeenshire and Fraserburgh where MacRae, Stephen & Co is based. Archie lives in Fraserburgh. Outside of work his interests are membership of Rotary and the Federation of Small Businesses, poetry, cooking (and eating) and walking.
Aileen was brought up and educated in Fraserburgh. Aileen joined MacRae Stephen & Co in 1995 as office junior & took up the position of cashier in 1997. Aileen qualified as a Law Accountant in 2002 and now looks after the cashroom and executry department.
David is 17 years old and will be going to university next year to study law. David started out at MacRae Stephen & Co back in September 2015 during work experience week and now works there on a part time basis five days a week preparatory to taking up his formal studies at university after summer 2018. As an I.T. and Business Studies enthusiast David loves the challenge of working in a paperless office whose I.T. systems are second to none in their application and use. David helps out in the legal office doing everything from research to general admin, or at least as much of that as there can be in an office with little or no paper. David also helps out on the leasing side of things. David is responsible for carrying out quarterly inspections on all factored properties, as well as looking after the admin side of things and helping tenants if any problems arise. David is very enthusiastic about becoming a solicitor and will hopefully have a long future here at MacRae Stephen & Co.
Donna started her traineeship at MacRae, Stephen & Co in 2017 having gained legal and management qualifications from Robert Gordon University. Prior to this, she worked at the firm once a week whilst completing her Diploma in order to enhance her legal knowledge. Being originally from Banff, Donna enjoys all that the rural practice has to offer. She has always had a keen interest in being a general practice solicitor and is currently covering a wide variety of the services MacRae, Stephen & Co has to offer, including conveyancing, private client and matrimonial and will gladly tackle anything that is thrown at her.
